Sanitation is responsible for the garbage collection of the Commercial, Residential, & Rural Routes in the City of Yukon in all inclements of weather, never shutting down. 

Residents are provided a green cart and picked up weekly.  Repairs are free of charge to those trash carts.

 Blue carts are available to purchase if a resident needs an additional container for their household trash.    The repairs made to the blue carts do have a fee and can be added to their water bill.

The Transfer Station is owned by the City of Yukon but subcontracted out to OEMA and all questions regarding dumping fees, regulations should be directed to OEMA.
