Police Department

The Yukon Police Department consists of 37 sworn police officers, 3 reserve officers, and 24 support staff. The Department has a bike patrol, unmarked police cruisers, detectives division, and school resource officers to investigate and combat crime.
The Communications Center is housed within the Yukon Police Department; dispatchers are available 24/7 for emergency and non-emergency phone calls that are police, fire and medical related.
YPD also manages the Animal Control Division. For animal related issues please call the shelter at (405) 354-6312. If there is no answer, contact the Police non-emergency number at (405) 354-1711.
For ticket information, solicitor’s permit, security alarm permit and other documents, you may contact the Records Department at (405) 350-7586. The Records Department is open Monday 8am to 5pm, Tuesday-Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to noon.
