Iron Thistle Scottish Heritage Festival and Highland Games

Family Fun, Celtic Style

April 30th & May 1st 2016

Medieval times come to life with clans dressed in authentic attire, live Celtic music, Celtic dancing, bag pipe and drum bands.   Explore your Scottish roots at the genealogy tent, sample the fare and stop by the children’s play area.  Watch athletes compete in the Highland games.  Admission:  Age 11 & up are $6, while children 10 and under are free.  Times:  10-6 PM both days. Festival of the Child

Over 50 areas of FUN!

Come celebrate children with a full day of fun made especially for them, with over 50 areas of activities including crafts, storytelling, kayaking, moonbounces, performing arts stage and more!  Admission is $5 in advance or $7 the day of the event.  Adults FREE.  Event hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
