The City of Yukon Parks & Recreation Department offers citizens of Yukon and surrounding areas a wide array of close to home family friendly activities. From special events to athletics to fellowship to beautiful parks, Yukon has it all. Yukon Parks & Recreation oversees 3 recreation facilities, 2 aquatic facilities, 12 parks and over 25 annual special events. The Parks & Recreation Department, led by a team of top notch professionals, strives to promote recreational activities for all of Yukon.

Yukon Park Board Members
In February 18, 2014, Resolution No. 2014-03 was passed declaring the City Council’s intent to study, evaluate, and consider the development of a Yukon Sports Facility; directing the City Manager to undertake and conduct a series of community and/or neighborhood meetings; and reporting the cumulative results of those public meetings to the City Council no later than May 06, 2014. The goal of these neighborhood meetings will be to solicit citizen’s ideas, comments, and suggestions regarding the desired level of sports and recreation facilities needed to accommodate Yukon’s growing population. All Yukon residents are encouraged to attend.
