City Manager
Yukon City Manager Grayson Bottom is the chief executive officer and head of the administrative branch of the Yukon municipal government. He is responsible for supervising local government operations and implementing the policies adopted by the Yukon City Council, to whom he is responsible.
Grayson has over 25 years of executive level management experience in local and state government. Prior to his current position, he served 7.5 years as the city manager for the City of Clinton, 14 years with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and spent 11 years in commercial banking. This successful blend of public-private sector experience enables Grayson to foster an environment where a high level of trust prevails where individual responsibility is emphasized. He has an open door policy and a “hands on” management style.
His expertise includes capital projects, infrastructure, municipal finances and budgeting, personnel management, labor relations and communications in municipal government. He promotes a positive environment conducive to retail and economic development.
Grayson holds active memberships in the International City Manager’s Association, the City Manager’s Association of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Municipal League Legislative Committee. He holds master and bachelor and degrees from Southwestern State University, Weatherford.
